The alphabet board is the perfect item for hands on experience during the first stages of a child's writing journey. The deep grooves of the uppercase letters on one side and the lower case letters on the other will aid letter recognition and formation. This is the ultimate resource to support a child's fine motor skills, helping them build the necessary muscles in their hands as they feel and follow the grooves of each letter, either using own finger or the wooden pencil provided.
The number board also offers the same opportunities and complements the alphabet board beautifully. On this design you will find deep grooves for the numerals 0-9 on one side, with shapes and lines to encourage fine motor control and pencil grip on the other.
You can easily add some creativity to the learning by filling the grooves on both boards with sensory resources, such as beads, lentils or play dough, making the boards even more versatile.
